Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Áine’s way of working is an integrative approach using Gestalt, Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Existentialist processes.
Each client is treated as an individual and no assumptions are made. The client brings what they want to each session. My way is to ‘do no harm’, going at the pace of the client. Each client has their own answers within and the therapist is there to guide them.
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Áine works with individuals who present with various issues, including Anxiety (also Existential Angst), Depression, Children of Alcoholics, Bereavement, Anger, Suicidal Ideation and Low Self Esteem. Young adults with life concerns, Couples Counselling, and Relationship counselling.
