Welcome note

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a safe and confidential space. The therapist guides the client to explore beliefs, thoughts, and behaviours that are affecting their everyday lives. The client will be supported and listened to in a non judgemental way.

What is the difference between Counselling and Psychotherapy? Counselling is more short term and generally deals with present issues like bereavement and loss. Psychotherapy tends to be deeper and although it deals with current issues, it may delve into past experiences and patterns of behaviour and the unconscious. They are very similar.
